Associate Director, Technology Solutions

Become a part of our caring community. The Associate Director, Technology Solutions devises an effective strategy for executing and delivering on IT business initiatives, requiring a solid understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across departments.

This position requires a physical residence and in-office presence in one of the following office locations: Dallas/Frisco, TX, Louisville, KY, Arlington, VA, or the DC/Baltimore Metro area.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison and collaborate with business and functional stakeholders to identify and deliver strategic enablement solutions.
• Technical decision-making: Evaluate architecture options, delivery risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.
• Engineering team leadership: Lead Agile teams, coach engineers, remove blockers, and improve delivery maturity.
• Strategic execution: Convert enterprise priorities into actionable technology initiatives and measurable delivery outcomes.
• Operational excellence: Focus on reliability, observability, incident prevention, cost management, and continuous improvement.
• Manage Healthcare Products from design to deployment and implementation support.
• Contribute to building and maintaining modern applications with cloud-native architecture.
• Provide top-down oversight throughout execution to ensure successful delivery in adherence to stakeholder goals.
• Lead a team of Scrum Masters/Managers, ensuring progress and addressing project challenges.
• Own the delivery team as a supervisor, managing their performance.
• Assign and oversee daily tasks of technical personnel, ensuring milestones are met.
• Ensure processes are adhered to and product vision is implemented in a timely manner.
• Implement code reviews with broader development teams.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and increase value delivered through the project/product lifecycle.
• Update and maintain all production technologies, ensuring proper maintenance and installation.
• Develop comprehensive project/product plans that merge customer requirements with company goals.
• Coordinate various managers and technical personnel as required.
• Ensure the team maintains required documentation for knowledge management.
• Define clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for staff members.
• Work well with diverse teams, including developers, engineers, architects, quality assurance, and operations.
• Execute all aspects of large construction projects, refreshes, and retrofits from planning to implementation to completion.
• Approve concept designs, deliver project schedules, assign and allocate resources.
• Manage internal staff, including hiring, mentoring, training, and evaluating.
• Hire and manage contractors, architects, engineers, and interface with external stakeholders.
• Prepare and develop budgets, manage the maintenance of the master budget and schedule.
• Document all phases of the project and prepare project status reports for senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 6 or more years of technical leadership experience.
• 2 or more years of management experience.
• Solid understanding of operations, technology, communications, and processes.
• 10+ years of progressive experience leading continuous improvement efforts, evaluating existing systems, and implementing process improvements.
• Experience with AI technology and an AI-first mindset, including automating solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree.

Pay

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications.

$142,300 - $195,700 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
