Associate Director, Technology Integrations
Full-time administrative/professional role in the Admissions and Financial Aid department at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED).
About the Role
The Associate Director for Technology Integrations is responsible for all information technology-related project management, procedures, implementation, and maintenance related to integrations of external third-party software (Federal Student Aid Partner Connect and other U.S. Education Department portals) and internal work with NEOMED's Student Information System (Ellucian Banner ERP and E-visions Argos reporting). This role involves managing system integrations and testing, collaborating with IT staff on Banner-specific software integrations, and working with federal Education Department services. The Associate Director assists with strategic goals, policy creation, process analysis, and maintaining documentation and training for the financial aid team.
Responsibilities
- Project Management and Implementation: Lead project management and collaborate with the IT Department to design and implement technology solutions for university constituent groups. Coordinate requirements gathering, functional specifications, integration documents, and testing scripts. Use reporting tools to extract and analyze data for troubleshooting system issues.
- Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the financial aid director on unit strategic goals and new initiatives. Maintain awareness of new laws, regulations, technology, and best practices; propose policy and procedure adjustments. Represent financial aid and IT on university committees.
- Process Management: Lead technology improvements in the financial aid office. Establish vision and priorities for technology initiatives. Oversee testing integrations for system upgrades, process changes, or data management. Maintain documentation and communicate workflow changes.
- Validation and Collaboration: Cross-check and validate financial aid timelines with Banner functionality, academic calendars, and accounting/student billing systems.
- Other Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Three years in higher education, including at least one year in a post-secondary financial aid office or IT position supporting financial aid.
- Experience and working knowledge of a financial aid module in a higher education ERP.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a relevant field.
- Five years in higher education administration, including at least two years in a post-secondary financial aid office or IT position supporting financial aid.
- Experience managing one or more functions using a financial aid module in a higher education ERP (e.g., compliance, awarding, E-Visions data exchange).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to utilize a phone, computer, and other office equipment.

Pay
Starting salary range: $49,120 – $58,125, commensurate with experience.
