Associate Director, Social Media Insights

About the role
The Strategy & Consulting team identifies opportunities that help clients push strategic and creative boundaries. The Insights department handles all client social and digital reporting cross-platform, sharp audience profiling via social data sources, syndicated data, and custom research. While metric reporting is a core function, this team presses beyond the numbers to deliver action-oriented insights and implications. We’re looking for an Associate Director to lead a team providing insights that drive value for clients. The ideal candidate is passionate about finding the “why” behind performance and eager to tackle daily challenges, solve long-term capability issues, and bring new technology and innovation suggestions.
Responsibilities
- Lead both external client relationships and influence senior stakeholders
- Identify opportunities and collaborate across functions to provide data-driven insights that elevate overall performance
- Build unique and comprehensive measurement frameworks for brands and creator partnerships, across both paid and organic media
- Lead core areas of audience insight, brand storytelling, and measurement strategy
Requirements
- 6-8 years experience in analytics, insights, and data management roles, with a social/digital focus preferred (especially on campaigns integrating influencer marketing or talent partnerships)
- Proven track record of leading and developing analytics teams, particularly in remote and multicultural environments
- Experience with social media monitoring, management, and listening tools
- Proficiency in data visualization and presentation software (Looker Studio, Tableau, Keynote, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience building internal and competitive benchmarks
- Experience analyzing both paid and organic data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships internally and with clients
- Ability to conduct high-level analysis and deliver insights in a consumable format for creative and strategy teams
- Awareness of emerging social trends and platforms, with critical thinking on implementing best practices for clients

Pay
Base salary range: $100,000 – $120,000, plus bonus potential if applicable. Actual salary depends on factors including market dynamics, location, experience, specialized skills, level of responsibility, and budgetary considerations.
