Associate Director, Quality System Compliance (Remote)
About the role
For our client, we are seeking an Associate Director, Quality System Compliance (Remote) to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role will lead enterprise quality audit activities and help ensure the organization's quality management systems remain aligned with applicable standards and regulatory requirements. The Associate Director will partner with business units to advance quality optimization efforts, strengthen compliance processes, and support continuous improvement across the operation. In addition, this leader will use audit data and trend analysis to inform decision-making, develop talent, and support special assessments that reinforce a strong quality culture. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Direct the enterprise quality audit team to ensure compliance with quality management standards
- Engage with business units to drive quality optimization initiatives
- Develop processes that improve functional results and compliance outcomes
- Analyze audit performance data and identify trends for continuous improvement
- Mentor team members to support a strong talent pipeline
- Support special audits and assessments as needed
Qualifications
- University degree with 12 years of experience, or an advanced degree with 10 years of experience, or 16 years of relevant experience without a degree
- Knowledge of quality audit programs and industry regulations
- Familiarity with ISO9001 and AS91XX standards
- AS9100 Lead Auditor Certification required
- Ability to obtain Aerospace Auditor (AA) certification within one year
- Active secret U.S. government-issued security clearance required

Pay
$157,200 – $298,800 annually
