Our Patient Support Services (PSS) team plays a key role in this mission, providing comprehensive support through reimbursement assistance, financial aid, patient education, and field-based services that help healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers navigate their treatment journeys.

The Associate Director (AD) of Project Management is responsible for delivering the operational components of Patient Support Services projects in support of our key objectives. The AD will lead readiness efforts across multiple functions, facilitating a consolidated view of key milestones and timelines as well as ensuring strategic and cross-functional communication. This position will interact with senior leadership and subject matter experts to develop solutions that improve process performance by increasing efficiency and ensuring a best-in-class team.

This includes managing projects from end-to-end, such as launches, system enhancements, process assessments, requirements gathering, designing enhancements, communication, and training. The role also involves collaboration and partnership with business units, training and change management teams, and our digital organization.

The ideal candidate is an experienced project management professional with 7+ years of cross-functional team leadership and end-to-end project delivery expertise, preferably within Patient Support Services or pharmaceutical commercial operations. They possess strong business acumen and demonstrate excellence in stakeholder management, process improvement, and strategic communication across all organizational levels. This individual excels at managing complex transformation initiatives, system implementations, and operational excellence projects while maintaining clear visibility into interdependencies and timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Project Workstreams
  • Report out status updates to Project Teams and Leadership
  • Manage escalation of concerns/issues
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring awareness and management of interdependencies
  • Lead operational excellence initiatives to drive process improvement and maintain timelines and deliverables
  • Project Management (development of project plans, status meetings, project reporting, etc.) across various projects
  • Document current state and future state business processes
  • Develop recommendations jointly with the business units, digital, and senior leadership
  • Prepare and present findings and implementation plans to management
  • Proactively identify opportunities and best practices across business processes and technology solutions
  • Coordinate or develop and execute communication and training strategies in partnership with the change management and training teams
  • Drive continuous improvement to the business processes and systems across Sanofi Specialty Care

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Minimum of 5 years managing projects
  • Project Management expertise required
  • Excellent in Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Excel

Qualifications

  • MBA preferred
  • System Implementation experience a plus
  • Commercial Operations experience a plus
  • Consulting experience a plus
  • PMP Certified a plus (Project Management Professional Certification)
  • Pharmaceutical experience

Schedule

Up to 10% travel required to various team meetings and conferences.
