About the Role
Stanford's Graduate School of Business (GSB) seeks an Associate Director of Program Development for the Executive Education Product and Business Development team. This role focuses on program and curriculum design across in-person, online, and blended modalities, creating impactful learning experiences for senior corporate executives through open enrollment programs, custom programs for global organizations, or other educational products.
Executive Education drives the GSB’s mission to inspire global leaders to change their thinking and drive positive impact. The team also serves as a vehicle for innovation in content and pedagogy. This is a full-time, hybrid position requiring a minimum of 2 days per week on-site.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and operations for programs or functions with significant business, regulatory, or technical challenges, requiring subject matter expertise.
- Evaluate programs, policies, and procedures; identify issues and develop alternative solutions, including changes to programs or policies.
- Analyze trends to advise and develop recommendations that achieve or modify program goals.
- Represent the program or function within the department, unit, or school, committing resources and providing information or training.
- Represent the program or function at the university level and to external/internal stakeholders.
- Manage and contribute to outreach strategy, including relationship development, communications, and compliance.
- Develop and/or oversee budgets; manage finances, including monitoring, analyzing, forecasting, and reporting.
- Assess training needs and develop associated training.
- Direct and/or supervise staff as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Skills
- Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, manage shifting priorities, and handle numerous time-sensitive projects with multiple deadlines.
- Ability to accomplish goals through formal and informal channels with diplomacy and tactfulness.
