Associate Director of Recruitment - Stetson University

About the role

The Associate Director of Recruitment reports directly to the Director of Undergraduate Admissions. The primary responsibilities include collaborating and implementing all recruitment efforts for Transfer. The Associate Director of Recruitment collaborates with Undergraduate Admissions counterparts to develop and implement key strategies for attracting and converting prospective students to meet admissions goals.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Undergraduate Admissions counterparts to develop and implement key strategies for attracting and converting prospective students to meet admissions goals.
• Support office operations, coordinating processing and reading of admissions applications.
• Share responsibility of staff training and development, and other duties as requested.
• Involvement in all phases of the admissions program, including travel, school visitation, territorial management and correspondence.
• Tel-counseling, interviewing, and application evaluation.
• Staff supervisory responsibilities and overseeing the Universities three Assistant Directors of Regional Recruitment and an Admission Recruiter who supports transfer recruitment.

• Master's degree in higher education, counseling, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in college admission or related field.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
