About the role

The Associate Director of Operations will support and oversee operational performance across Essen Health Care's Women’s Health, Endocrinology, and Nutrition service lines. This role is ideal for a healthcare operations leader who thrives in fast-paced, multi-site environments and is passionate about improving access and outcomes for diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across Women’s Health, Endocrinology, and Nutrition programs
  • Partner with clinical leadership to optimize workflows, staffing models, and patient throughput
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), productivity, access to care, and operational efficiency
  • Support program growth initiatives, new service launches, and process improvement efforts
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, internal policies, and quality standards
  • Act as a liaison between clinical teams, operations, finance, and executive leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Healthcare operations experience required
  • Proven experience managing or supporting clinical operations in an ambulatory or multi-specialty setting
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to manage multiple service lines and priorities simultaneously

Qualifications

  • Experience in Women’s Health, Endocrinology, and/or Nutrition services preferred
  • Background in value-based care, population health, or integrated healthcare systems preferred
  • Experience working within NYC-based healthcare organizations preferred
