Associate Director, Media

About the role
We’re looking for an Associate Media Director who can take the reins for the Media department, own key accounts, and develop strong bonds with clients and internal teams. You’ll play an instrumental role in developing strategic media and implementing innovative tactics to grow our clients’ business.
Responsibilities
- Oversee development of program strategies and analysis for clients, collaborating closely with Account, Creative, and Measurement teams to ensure work is strategically aligned and on brief
- Expertly guide and manage relationships between Media teams, account directors, and clients to consistently deliver high-quality, inspiring work and grow our business
- Provide thoughtful feedback to Media teams, using performance evaluation and internal process improvement to develop and motivate talent
- Smartly manage revenue and program budgets to ensure necessary and optimal resourcing
- Play a key role in spotting issues with core client teams and in developing new client relationships
- Maintain and improve the success of publisher relationships
Requirements
- A four-year college education and seven to nine years of media planning experience, including at least two years of digital/interactive experience and two years of media supervisory experience within an agency
- Exceptional grasp of media planning, negotiation, and performance analysis, with an impressive understanding of the digital environment
- Stellar communication skills: articulate, poised, straightforward, thoughtful, and kind
- Strong project management and performance management skills, with clarity in delegating and providing feedback
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Familiarity with prompt-based interaction and commonly used generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini, DALL·E, Midjourney) is a plus, especially for tasks like ideation, research, or content generation

Pay
USD $97,375.00 - USD $155,961.00/Annually. Compensation will be determined based on skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position.
