About the Company

Disc Medicine is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company committed to discovering, developing, and commercializing novel treatments for patients who suffer from serious hematologic diseases. Responsibilities

  • Oversee Disc Medicine's Microsoft 365 environment including IAM, Intune, MS Defender, and Purview.
  • Ensure secure endpoint configuration and management in collaboration with MSP and Security Operations Center, including corporate devices and BYOD program.
  • Ensure Disc Medicine's infrastructure and cloud computing environments are properly architected and scaled to support growth.
  • Lead data governance efforts including DLP, sensitivity labels, and AI security policies.
  • Advance Disc Medicine's Information Security program ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements (SOX, GxP, FDA, and other relevant regulatory standards).
  • Work with MSPs to ensure a robust web infrastructure including management of web hosting, DNS, Cloudflare, and Github.
  • Architect and support cloud-based DevOps environment.
  • Ensure robust and secure home office technology infrastructure.
  • Lead the implementation and ongoing optimization of cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
  • Ensure infrastructure solutions are compliant with corporate policies/standards and relevant regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including experience in regulated life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceutical environments.
  • Experience supporting cloud infrastructure, digital workplace technologies, business systems, and cybersecurity controls.
  • Experience managing MSPs, vendors, and third-party technology partners.
  • Working knowledge of compliance and control frameworks such as SOX, GxP, FDA-regulated environments, NIST CSF.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure, cloud architecture, and modern IT infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled workplace tools, governance considerations, and their application in business processes.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and willingness to engage in hands-on technical support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay

The annual base salary range for this position is $180,000—$220,000 USD. Actual pay rates are determined by considering multiple factors including qualifications, relevance of experience, education & credentials, subject matter expertise, and internal parity.
