About the role

The role of Associate Director of Influencer Marketing at Monks involves leading the development and execution of integrated influencer marketing strategies for a diverse portfolio of global clients. As a strategic leader, you will shape overarching influencer programs that align with client business objectives, drive measurable growth, and strengthen long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead comprehensive influencer marketing strategies that align with client business objectives, target audiences, and evolving market trends.

  • Partner with the Director of Influencer Marketing to define long-term strategic roadmaps that drive measurable business impact across regional and global markets.

  • Identify opportunities to grow existing client partnerships by expanding influencer marketing services, introducing innovative solutions, and developing integrated marketing strategies.

  • Support new business initiatives by contributing to pitches, developing strategic recommendations, and presenting influencer marketing solutions to prospective clients.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging platforms, creator economy developments, audience insights, and competitive activity to identify new opportunities for clients and the agency.

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day strategic contact for clients, providing proactive communication, campaign updates, and performance insights.

  • Present campaign strategies, recommendations, and results to clients.

  • Identify challenges and implement effective solutions to ensure successful campaign delivery and client satisfaction.

  • Define success metrics and monitor campaign performance to optimize campaigns and inform future strategies.

  • Develop post-campaign reports with insights and recommendations.

  • Manage campaign budgets to maximize ROI.

  • Build relationships with creators, agencies, and partners across global markets.

  • Oversee influencer sourcing, vetting, negotiations, contracting, and campaign execution.

  • Partner with regional teams to ensure consistent global execution.

  • Mentor and support junior team members.

  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

Requirements

Essentials:

  • 5+ years of influencer marketing experience.
  • Experience leading complex global campaigns and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong client management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing budgets and campaign analytics.
  • Deep understanding of creator marketing and social platforms.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of success in influencer marketing roles.

Pay

$90,000—$100,000 USD

Schedule

Flexible schedule, with a requirement to work from the office a set number of days per week, depending on location and company policy.
