About the role

Lead the generation and communication of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Real-World Evidence (RWE) to support value propositions for in-line and pipeline LEO assets in medical dermatology. This role provides strategic and operational support of US HEOR objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership in developing evidence and value propositions to support Market Access and Medical strategies for LEO assets, focusing on unmet medical need, treatment outcomes, competitive economic advantage, and additional value differentiators.
  • Execute HEOR and RWE studies in support of in-line and pipeline LEO assets.
  • Develop proactive and responsive field materials to communicate value propositions of LEO assets.
  • Collaborate with US and global functions, including Medical Affairs, Market Access and Pricing Strategy (MAPS), Marketing, external vendors, and thought leaders to execute HEOR strategies and objectives.
  • Ensure strategic alignment with other business areas by participating in US and global workstreams.
  • Lead publication efforts in collaboration with Scientific Communications colleagues to deliver high-quality peer-reviewed publications supporting LEO assets.
  • Provide input into the development of HEOR strategies and objectives for annual planning.
  • Engage in key account and thought leader management, including consultation on comparative effectiveness, place in therapy, appropriate use, health outcomes, and value-based contracting for LEO assets.
  • Provide project and vendor management support, including RFP, SOW, vendor selection, legal and compliance issues, and budget tracking.
  • Assist in training field-based Health Outcomes personnel, Account Managers, and other LEO staff on health outcomes research, pharmacoeconomic data, disease state management, managed care, and product knowledge.
  • Communicate project activities and provide regular updates to key internal stakeholders.
  • Serve as a credible scientific bridge between LEO and healthcare system decision-makers in Managed Care, Medicare, and institutional settings by providing scientific, HEOR, and pharmacoeconomic support for LEO assets and dermatology disease states.

Requirements

  • Terminal or Doctorate degree with relevant experience required; PharmD, PhD, or MD is required. Fellowship training is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 7+ years post-graduate HEOR experience in a managed care setting and/or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Publication record in peer-reviewed journals and presentation of abstracts at congresses.
  • Experience in dermatology is highly desirable.
  • High degree of proficiency in analytical skills, with specific focus on development of Budget Impact Models, Cost-effectiveness analyses, and other economic tools.
  • Demonstrable experience in designing and executing HEOR protocol elements within phase IIIB/IV/Non-Interventional Studies (NIS) programs.
  • Ability to travel overnight approximately 20% of the time.

About the team

In this highly collaborative role, you will partner closely with colleagues across US and Global Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, HEOR, Legal & Compliance, and Market Analytics to shape and execute strategic initiatives. You will also build and maintain relationships with external vendors, key thought leaders, and population-based decision-makers, leveraging their insights to inform strategy and drive meaningful impact for patients and healthcare systems.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $180,000–$230,000 per year. Salary will vary based on the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions or bonus based on company and/or individual performance.
