Associate Director - Health Technology Consulting - Revenue Cycle Technology (Epic)

About the role

The Associate Director will lead revenue cycle technology engagements across Guidehouse’s Commercial Health client portfolio. This role requires a strong background in health IT consulting, EHR implementation, or revenue cycle operations, with a focus on Epic revenue cycle.

Responsibilities

• Own executive relationships and manage workstreams across a team.
• Lead assessments, stabilize post-live implementations, and optimize revenue cycle processes.
• Translate platform knowledge into practical recommendations for clients.
• Grow the practice by identifying expansion opportunities, supporting proposals, and representing Guidehouse at industry events.
• Develop and coach engagement teams from Analyst through Senior Consultant.

Requirements

• Eight to twelve years of combined experience in health IT consulting, EHR implementation, or revenue cycle operations.
• Deep Epic revenue cycle expertise, including certification in relevant modules.
• Experience with Oracle Health, Meditech Expanse, or athenahealth in a revenue cycle context.
• Three years of experience working in Epic revenue cycle environments.
• Comfortable in front of executives and ability to push back on client assumptions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree at minimum; graduate degree in health informatics, business administration, or a related field is a plus.

Skills

• Fluency in revenue cycle performance metrics.
• Understanding of EHR configuration and its intersection with payer and regulatory requirements.
• Experience supporting or contributing to digital transformation, AI integration, or analytics strategy within health system engagements.

Benefits
