About the role
The Associate Director will lead revenue cycle technology engagements across Guidehouse’s Commercial Health client portfolio. This role requires a strong background in health IT consulting, EHR implementation, or revenue cycle operations, with a focus on Epic revenue cycle.
Responsibilities
- Own executive relationships and manage workstreams across a team.
- Lead assessments, stabilize post-live implementations, and optimize revenue cycle processes.
- Translate platform knowledge into practical recommendations for clients.
- Grow the practice by identifying expansion opportunities, supporting proposals, and representing Guidehouse at industry events.
- Develop and coach engagement teams from Analyst through Senior Consultant.
Requirements
- Eight to twelve years of combined experience in health IT consulting, EHR implementation, or revenue cycle operations.
- Deep Epic revenue cycle expertise, including certification in relevant modules.
- Experience with Oracle Health, Meditech Expanse, or athenahealth in a revenue cycle context.
- Three years of experience working in Epic revenue cycle environments.
- Comfortable in front of executives and ability to push back on client assumptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree at minimum; graduate degree in health informatics, business administration, or a related field is a plus.
Skills
- Fluency in revenue cycle performance metrics.
- Understanding of EHR configuration and its intersection with payer and regulatory requirements.
- Experience supporting or contributing to digital transformation, AI integration, or analytics strategy within health system engagements.
Benefits
