Responsibilities
- Lead and manage financial due diligence engagements, including carve-outs and divestitures.
- Develop and review quality of earnings (QoE) analyses, net working capital assessments, normalized EBITDA evaluations, and cash flow analyses.
- Design and deliver analytics solutions using tools like Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R, Excel, and Snowflake.
- Apply AI-enabled solutions to enhance client solutions and internal processes, adhering to firm policies on data protection, intellectual property, and professional standards.
- Monitor M&A market trends, evolving technologies, and sector-specific developments, and communicate their implications to clients and internal teams.
- Support business development efforts by identifying and pursuing opportunities with private equity sponsors, corporate acquirers, and lenders.
- Cultivate strong client relationships and provide strategic advice, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to recruitment and retention efforts.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in financial due diligence, transaction analytics, public accounting, or a related professional services environment.
- In-depth knowledge of quality of earnings methodologies, net working capital analyses, EBITDA normalization, and financial statement evaluation in an M&A context.
- Demonstrated experience managing FDD engagements and workstreams for private equity and corporate clients, with increasing responsibility for team leadership and client relationships.
- Proficiency with analytics and data platforms such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R, Excel, or Snowflake, and the ability to apply these tools within a transaction context.
- Proven ability to independently manage project teams, resolve engagement-level issues, and deliver high-quality client deliverables under tight timelines.
- Track record of building and developing strong client relationships, with early-stage experience contributing to business development and proposal efforts.
- Comfort with AI: Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation.
- Continuous Learning Mindset: Openness to learning and applying emerging technologies including AI and automation in alignment with firm policies and client standards.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree a plus.
- CPA, CA, or CFA certification preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in financial due diligence, transaction advisory, or a related field within a public accounting or professional services environment.
