The Air Dominance (AD) sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU) within the Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) Strategic Business Unit is looking for a Finance Leader to lead all aspects of financial management for a critical portfolio of programs to enable the achievement of its Annual Operating Plan and long-term strategic goals. This role will oversee a portfolio of programs and captures driving $0.6B of annual revenue, spanning critical development to International production to franchise capture leadership. The portfolio includes the Precision Strike family of programs, critical Development programs feeding future AMRAAM production, and the critical HACM transition to production.
Relocation assistance will be provided for this position. This role is onsite in Tucson, AZ.
About the role
In this role, you’ll be a key member of the Air Dominance Finance Leadership team, partnering with multiple Program Area Directors, Program leaders, and functional partners in an exciting time of significant growth to ensure financial and business goals are met. You will provide financial guidance to this dynamic business area from business capture/proposal development through contract set-up and implementation, enabling growth while achieving financial commitments.
Responsibilities
- Partner with multiple program area directors and leadership teams to ensure sound business decisions in program implementation, new business, and strategy.
- Effectively manage all financials for a complex portfolio of programs.
- Drive business financials while maintaining accountability across programs on both short- and long-term initiatives, including closely monitoring and measuring performance.
- Construct the business’ Long-Range Plan and Annual Operating Plan.
- Develop and oversee financial forecasts for Bookings, Sales, Earnings, and Net Cash.
- Provide financial briefings and communications to customers, the Finance Leadership Team, SCM/Ops, Engineering, and the PMO Director.
- Partner on new and innovative cost strategies in support of competitive captures.
- Develop a team of multiple managers and direct reports, including performance expectations/evaluation, career development planning, and team reward/recognition.
- Manage business processes, including Estimates at Complete (EAC), Customer Reporting, Proposal and Start-up Gates, Working Capital Management, and Earned Value.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of experience.
- Professional experience in a related finance role.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Active and existing U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance required after day one (preferred but not mandatory at hire).

- Experience with Earned Value Management.
- Experience leading teams and managing people.
- Experience in proposals and competitive capture.
- Experience leading P&L across production and development.
Pay
The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
