Associate Director, Field Scientific Engagement Strategy and Operations- Vaccines

About the role

This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a life sciences environment.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategic direction into actionable field execution models
• Design and refine operating systems for field engagement processes
• Operationalize AI and digital tools for engagement execution
• Develop standardized playbooks for congresses and field operations
• Identify process bottlenecks and recommend structural improvements
• Drive the planning of cross-functional field execution meetings
• Serve as the operational lead for congress execution, ensuring timely coordination

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's, PhD, MD, PharmD) in Life Sciences, Public Health, Clinical Research, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in Medical Affairs or field medical roles in the pharmaceutical industry
• Prior experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or in field medical
• Proven track record in leading complex initiatives within cross-functional teams
• Strong project and operational leadership skills with multitasking ability

Pay

$148,500 – $214,500 annually
