Associate Director (Downstream Marketing) - Endovascular

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute downstream marketing strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets
- Represent the Endovascular business at executive leadership reviews and contribute to enterprise strategic planning initiatives
- Become marketing leader for endovascular portfolio, responsible for market development, marketing and execution through partnership with the NA sales team
- Maintain deep expertise in the endovascular market, including customer needs, clinical trends, competitive dynamics, and product performance
- Lead product launches, new indications, and market development initiatives
- Collaborate with regional marketing teams and sales leadership (as needed) to understand, and support regional goals, regional product launch and regional market research
Customer & Market Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (cardiac & vascular surgeons)
- Engage customers through field travel, trainings, and industry congresses
- Translate voice of customer insights into actionable commercial initiatives
- Collaborate with Medical Education, Clinical team, and physician consultants to support and ensure ongoing clinician education goals and outcomes align with business goals
Product Lifecycle Management
- Manage full product lifecycle including positioning, segmentation, and portfolio optimization
- Identify growth opportunities, differentiation strategies, and line extensions
- Support forecasting and demand planning with Sales, Operations, and Finance
Launch & Sales Enablement
- Develop value propositions, messaging, and marketing collateral
- Create and deliver training tools for sales teams and physician education
- Ensure field readiness and successful adoption of new products through robust training delivery
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority to ensure alignment and successful execution of strategic priorities
- Mentor and develop marketing talent, fostering organizational capability and succession planning within the commercial organization
- Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership on market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies impacting the Endovascular business
- Partner with Upstream Marketing, R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Operations, etc
Financial Management
- Lead annual operating plan development and long-range forecasting for the Endovascular business
- Track ROI and optimize marketing investments, and manage budgets for product line
- Present performance updates and strategic plans to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, life sciences, or related field
- MBA or advanced business degree preferred
- 10+ years of progressive medical device industry experience
- Endovascular experience highly preferred
- Demonstrated success leading portfolio strategy and large-scale commercialization efforts
- Proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive strategic decisions with excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities
- Strong clinical and technical acumen in complex procedural environments knowledge of aortic anatomy preferred
- Demonstrated ability to extract and translate customer insights into commercial strategies and execution plans
- Prior people leadership experience preferred (direct or indirect)
- Strong analytical, financial, and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to travel 30-40%
