About the role

The ideal candidate will lead the development and implementation of Medicaid entitlement and coverage strategies, ensuring alignment with federal guidelines and state-specific policies. This role requires deep understanding of Medicaid programs and strong leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Medicaid strategy aligned with federal guidelines and state-specific policies.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of Medicaid entitlements and coverage initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with Medicaid regulations and best practices.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of Medicaid-related projects.
  • Monitor and analyze Medicaid program performance metrics to inform strategic decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare policy, public administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Medicaid management or similar roles.
  • Proven track record of leading complex Medicaid initiatives and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in healthcare policy, public administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience working with Medicaid administrative systems and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
