This role ensures agency and client teams have access to timely, accurate, reliable data for quick business decisions. It involves leveraging data expertise to guide and evolve processes, enforce data quality standards, and deliver innovative campaign reporting solutions.
Responsibilities
- Leverages tools, systems, and teams to streamline and design complex processes, suggest organizational changes, and implement new partners or vendors.
- Supports the design and implementation of taxonomy and naming conventions.
- Enforces governance and high data quality standards.
- Develops innovative campaign reporting solutions and supports their delivery across Omnicom networks and agencies.
- Operates as an extension of offshore teams to support successful delivery of campaign data solutions.
- Provides expertise across data sources to develop governance solutions for achieving service level performance.
- Communicates technical information to non-technical audiences across the customer lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years' experience in marketing science, advertising analytics, data operations, business intelligence, or campaign insights, preferably in a media or agency environment.
- 6+ years' experience in marketing agency or directly working with marketing data, particularly in paid media.
- Proficiency with advertising technology platforms and data quality/transformation tools, with preference for DBT or Great Expectations.
- Experience with cloud technologies and project management tools, with preference for Starburst, Smartsheet, and JIRA.
- Expertise in business intelligence technologies, including direct use of PowerBI or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Intelligence.
- Programming/query language fluency, including SQL, with preference for Python, JavaScript, or DAX.
- Ability to influence and manage cross-functional teams without formal authority, with extensive involvement on projects including offshore, technology, operations, vendor, or agency teams.
- Excellent communications skills, with experience communicating across functional groups and leadership teams with varying technical backgrounds.

- 8+ years’ experience in marketing science, advertising analytics, data operations, business intelligence, or campaign insights, ideally in a media or agency environment.

- Proficiency with advertising technology platforms and data quality/transformation tools.
