MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in a human service related field with at least three (3) year supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated supervisory, administrative, problem solving and consultation skills including a minimum of five (5) years’ of demonstrated work experience with children in mental health or related social service field.
  • The willingness and ability to work irregular hours as needed to ensure quality standards are met in service delivery.
  • A current behavioral health board approved license (LPC, LCSW, LBP, LMFT, LADC).

General Expectations

  • Bears responsibility for a wide array of programming related to the YES Tulsa Location as well as the CALM Center.
  • Meticulously monitors the performance of these specialty services and case management, ensuring that all practices and operations align with the stringent requirements mandated by regulatory and licensing agencies.
  • Coordinates provider workflow planning and scheduling in collaboration with other programs and departments as necessary.
  • Serves as a coach, mentor, and supervisor to staff providers, offering guidance on best practices and addressing therapy service or operational issues with an acute focus on urgency and adherence to agency policy.
  • Identifies and collaborates on the execution of action plans to enhance service delivery and ensure compliance measures are met.
  • Facilitates appropriate collaboration to ensure adherence to established clinical pathways and fosters seamless interdepartmental coordination.

Special Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Recruiting, selecting, and providing leadership to staff members (clinical and support staff).
  • Knowledge of valid assessment, treatment planning, and service delivery systems including best practices and evidenced-based practice models used in various services.
  • Communicating in an emotionally intelligent manner with clear, polite, and respectful interpersonal communication in person, in written format and by telephone, with employees, administration, community partners, referral sources, and client’s and their families.
  • Knowledge of the behavioral health field, trauma informed care, and crisis management.
  • Working knowledge of different types of child / adolescent treatment modalities and services.
  • Strong and effective supervision skills and strategies for dealing with a wide range of employee issues and concerns.

Position Responsibilities

  • Collaboration with Director and facilitating the daily operation, development, maintenance, and supervision of CRS’s The CALM Center and YES Tulsa.
  • Co-lead/conduct regular team meetings/huddles with all outpatient children’s staff.
  • Available on-call (often at irregular hours) for staff supervised.
  • Meeting established responsivity guidelines as it relates to assessment, treatment, and referral.
  • Provide backup for Calm Center and YES supervisor coverage in the absence of the Unit Directors and Clinical Director.
  • Co-facilitate or conduct regular individual/group clinical supervisions.
  • Coordinate with Director on possible learning plans, and disciplinary actions on supervisee needing assistance and who are deficient in their fiscal responsibilities or fidelity treatment models.
  • Assist Director in ensuring all CALM and YES-Tulsa staff are appropriately trained in CRS and departmental policies & procedures and staff’s training is up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with Director in preparation and submission of time-sensitive/end-of-year reports as required by CRS, CARF, DHS, and ODMHSAS.
  • Ensure and monitor that youth and families have access to needed care/services through the CALM and YES-Tulsa continuum.
  • Assist Director in organizing, ordering, and maintaining clinical support items for YES-Tulsa and CALM.
  • Other duties as assigned by Clinical Director.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to move from location to location easily, bending, stooping, communicate clearly, prepare written communications, present information to other employees, process complex information within established procedures/programs, enter data to various programs.
  • Must be able to climb stairs and access non-handicapped equipped residences/facilities, may be exposed to diseases, illness, or infection.
  • Ability to use basic office equipment such as: telephone, calculator, computer, etc.

Safety-Sensitive

  • Counseling & Recovery Services of Oklahoma has designated this position as “safety-sensitive.” Employees who work in positions classified as “safety-sensitive” can be disciplined if they test positive for marijuana or its metabolites.

EMPLOYMENT STATUS & HOURS

  • Exempt. Full-Time, 40 hours per week.
  • Evening and/or weekend work will be required as needed to meet social responsibility commitments and associated agency objectives in providing services to clients.

Medical Record Access Level

  • Level 1.

  • YES-Tulsa team members in collaboration with Crisis Services Director.

Indirect Supervisee

  • None.
