Our Consulting Associate Directors are responsible for project delivery and oversight along with client relationship management. You will manage teams as an engagement manager, leading the team to completion and ensuring deliverables are on time. You will also help create the scope and design of the overall project. We advise clients at the highest strategic level on both big-picture and tactical matters, focusing on how technology enables a wide range of business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee consulting engagements, contributing to budgeting, scoping, and designing project roadmaps to ensure deliverables align with timelines and statement of work objectives.
  • Create high-quality project work-products/deliverables such as slide decks/presentations, technical or business documents (manuals, requirements), and quantitative models.
  • Build credibility with client management-level staff, set the standard for engagement teams, and proactively manage client expectations of engagement scope.
  • Develop engagement hypotheses based on client context, identify problem-solving techniques, and train others on these techniques.
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback on projects and proactively engage in formal and informal feedback/coaching.
  • Leverage knowledge of AI to identify opportunities for its application in client projects, enhancing effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Assist in client interviews and workshops (facilitation/content).
  • Meet utilization and sales targets.
  • Participate in hiring new associates.
  • Mentor junior associates and guide them in project delivery.

Requirements

  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of extensive experience in ERP Cloud Consulting within Oracle, Workday, or SAP.
  • Understanding of finance business capabilities.
  • Experience within a well-regarded management consultancy in project delivery.
  • Sales experience is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a problem-solving capacity such as a workstream lead preferred.
  • Experience working with multiple IT or Technology solutions.
  • Experience working with State and Local Government clients.
  • Consistent track record of leading people and building high-performing teams that leverage technology and research to drive mission-critical priorities of state and local government entities.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate professionals from both technical and non-technical backgrounds towards a common goal.
  • Unwavering commitment to the success of your team, with willingness to provide constructive/corrective action when needed.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and creative development of solutions and strategies to solve client problems; must adapt Gartner frameworks and methodologies to address clients’ most pressing business challenges.
  • Ability to be hands-on and manage multiple client priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable influencing and building trust-based, value-added relationships with senior executives, both internally and externally.
  • Coachable and embracing of best practices and feedback as a means of continuous improvement.

  • Experience leading an ERP Cloud workstream.
  • Successful completion of at least one full life cycle ERP Cloud implementation (Oracle, Workday, or SAP).

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 138,000 USD - 163,000 USD. Actual salaries may vary based on factors including education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
