Regeneron Healthcare Solutions, Inc. seeks an Associate Director, Sales Forecasting & Analytics in Sleepy Hollow, NY to generate, analyze, track, and disseminate commercial revenue forecasts, analyze actual sales performance, and provide related insights for Regeneron’s marketed and new Oncology products.

About the role

  • Develop and maintain patient-based forecast models applying epidemiology, secondary data, and primary market research to produce detailed patient flow buildouts and revenue forecasts.
  • Convert assumptions to demand sales units, gross and net sales.
  • Analyze actuals, perform revenue variance analysis, and articulate performance drivers.
  • Work closely with Commercial Business Unit leaders and internal partners to ensure forecast models reflect all relevant assumptions and information.
  • Structure and perform independent analysis to uncover insights that drive business decisions.
  • Prepare financial reports, packages, and ad-hoc presentations with visuals for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Assist Finance leadership and Senior Management in understanding sales performance components (net, gross, price, volume/demand, market share, etc.).
  • Stay abreast of market dynamics and the competitive landscape, including commercial, regulatory, and R&D events for competing products.
  • 10% domestic travel required.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Health and Data Science, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field and 8 years of progressive, relevant experience, including sales forecasting in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry.

  • Developing and maintaining patient-based forecasting models using epidemiology data for biotech and pharmaceutical products.
  • Creating professional presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint, including transforming financial data into clear, visually compelling slides and graphics.
  • Using data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel modeling skills for building Commercial and long-term forecast models.
  • Manipulating raw data to interpret results and provide analysis and insights, using tools like SQL.
  • Using external pharmaceutical sales-related data sources such as IQVIA, Komodo, and HUB.
  • Forecasting for both pre-launch and in-line products.
  • Supporting products in Oncology or Rare Disease, domestically (US) and internationally.
  • Gross-to-Net accounting & reporting.
  • Predictive Modeling to develop and implement statistically driven, trend-based forecasts.
  • Creating short-term forecasts (weekly/monthly) for tactical planning and multi-year long-term forecasts for strategic planning.
  • Post-launch performance tracking and variance analysis.
  • Building scenario-based forecasts, analytics, and diagnostics to quantify risks and provide risk-management guidance.
  • Working across product lifecycle stages including pipeline, launch, in-line, and LOE.
  • Incorporating pricing, gross-to-net, and access dynamics in buy-and-bill settings.

Pay

Salary range: $157,200 - $256,600 per year.
