Associate Director, Commercial Accounts- Financial Markets (EAST)
About the role
The Associate Director, Commercial Accounts will build a sustainable base of business that meets and exceeds revenue and order intake objectives for agreed-upon accounts in their assigned territory through a tenacious focus on Glory Global Solutions' sales process. This role supports pipeline generation, prospecting, and early-stage opportunity development, driving new business growth across the banking industry (Banks and Credit Unions).
The ideal candidate will be a "Hunter" with the ability to maintain and grow business relationships, requiring strong prospecting skills to manage a large number of prospects across financial markets.
Responsibilities
- Heavy outbound calls to prospects and customers to drive bigger deals and more new opportunities.
- Develop, realize, and maintain incremental revenue by selling and advocating GGS products and services to, through, and with prospective customers within a specified territory or assigned accounts.
- Utilize CRM software to document all sales activity, manage the sales pipeline, and identify, track, and facilitate closure of key opportunities.
- Remotely maintain ongoing relationships with multiple contacts throughout clients' organizations and effectively utilize internal resources to ensure smooth delivery of products/services and payment.
- Process all sales order paperwork in a timely fashion and resolve customer conflicts quickly.
- Occasional travel to customer and prospect sites, trade shows, and internal sales meetings.
- Maintain a consultative or solutions-oriented selling style.
- Demonstrate willingness to professionally grow and develop.
Requirements
- BA or BS preferred.
- 2+ years of solution-based sales experience, ideally for non-commoditized solutions.
- Sales experience within the banking sector is a plus.
- Demonstrated success identifying and reaching decision-makers to drive sales results.
- Must be organized, motivated, and able to follow a structured sales process while developing and executing a sales plan enthusiastically.
- Ability to provide a solution-based selling approach (versus only product selling) to senior-level executives.
- Strong account management, closing, and "win-win" negotiating skills.
- Exceptional business writing and communication skills.
- Proficiency in creating, modifying, and delivering PowerPoint presentations across all levels.
- Effective use of Excel and other MS applications.
- Experience designing and negotiating winning sales proposals, including calculating pricing to reach gross profit targets.

Location
The ideal candidate will live in ME, NY, MD, DC, DE, NJ, WV, RI, CT, VT, NH, or PA and reside within 60 miles of a major airport.
Pay
- Base Salary: $80K–$90K
- Commission at Target: $50K
- On-Target Annual Compensation: $130K–$140K
- Strong above-target incentives
