Associate Director, AI Development Lead

Responsibilities

• Build and ship end-to-end ML solutions, including data ingestion and model monitoring
• Design and implement GenAI solutions like retrieval-augmented systems and agentic workflows
• Write production-quality code with an emphasis on modularity and performance
• Review architectures for AI/ML solutions, ensuring they meet security and reusability standards
• Debug and optimize solutions considering various trade-offs such as accuracy and cost
• Lead a small team of AI developers, establishing direction and quality expectations
• Mentor team members and foster technical growth through feedback and code review

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field; advanced degree preferred
• 5-7 years of experience in AI, machine learning, or data science; 10+ years preferred
• Hands-on experience in building and deploying ML/GenAI solutions to production
• Proficiency in Python or R and ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Strong knowledge of core machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure); AWS or GCP preferred
