Associate Developer

Job Description We are seeking a skilled developer to join our software engineering team. Working closely with agile, cross-functional teams, you will design, build, deliver, and maintain resilient, end-to-end applications that power our reinsurance platforms, while receiving the domain training and support needed to learn the business, ramp up quickly, and contribute with confidence. In This Role, You Will Build and maintain scalable front-end and back-end architecturesDeliver clean, maintainable, and well-documented code across the stackWork alongside senior engineers to translate requirements into technical solutionsDebug and resolve complex technical issues across multiple environments Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related fieldAt least 3 to 5 years of professional software development experience preferably within the insurance domainStrong experience with Node.js, Java, .NET, or PythonProficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like AngularDemonstrated knowledge of relational and non-relational databasesExperience with unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing frameworksProven experience with Git or similar source control systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of troubleshooting complex software defectsExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-organizational teamsUnderstand DevOps and Agile methodologies and practices The pay range for the role is $80,000 to $115,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
