Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, testing, and implementation of data integrations, reporting solutions, and analytical applications.
  • Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines, data transformations, and enterprise reporting processes.
  • Create and enhance dashboards, reports, and business intelligence solutions that support business decision-making.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established development standards and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve technical skills and solution quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data, reporting, and application issues in collaboration with senior team members.
  • Support system testing, deployment activities, and post-release validation efforts.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technology teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Absorb and ensure data accuracy, quality, and integrity across reporting and analytics platforms.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation for assigned tasks, processes, and projects.
  • Learn and support modern cloud-based data platforms, analytics technologies, and emerging AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced retail technology environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Foundational understanding of software development and data management principles.
  • Experience with one or more programming languages such as SQL, Python, C#, or Java.
  • Basic understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Familiarity with data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and data transformation techniques.
  • Exposure to business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data and analytics platforms is preferred.
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with business and technology teams in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving business requirements.
