Associate - Deli

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by offering product knowledge, answering questions, and making personalized suggestions
• Maintain product freshness through regular rotation and quality checks
• Restock and rotate displays to ensure visual appeal and freshness
• Pack, label, and price self-service items accurately
• Slice meats and cheeses, prepare custom sandwiches, and fulfill custom/special orders and party platters
• Operate deli equipment safely, including meat and cheese slicers, ovens, knives, scales, and other Deli equipment
• Absorb and assist with other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Prior deli or food preparation experience preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic math and reading skills
• Strong attention to detail and visual presentation
• Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude
• A passion for serving people

Physical & Work Environment

• This role involves walking and standing for extended periods and lifting products weighing up to 50 pounds
• The position includes frequent interaction with customers and fellow team members in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
