Associate Dean of Nursing (Reg FT)

About the role

The Associate Dean of Nursing (Reg FT) is responsible for overseeing day-to-day academic activities, managing faculty and staff, and fostering partnerships with clinical and community organizations.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a key leader in the design, implementation, and support of disciplinary programs and services.
• Maintains course and room schedules to meet student needs.
• Hires and reviews assignments for adjunct faculty and support staff, and conducts evaluations.
• Manages budgets for the division and enforces CCAC policies.
• Facilitates academic misconduct policies, student complaints, and academic complaint procedures.
• Coordinates renovations and updates of instructional areas, and funds requests through grants.
• Promotes student recruitment, registration, orientation, retention, and placement.
• Fosters off-site learning and program development.
• Travels to various campuses and centers to facilitate academic operations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• A minimum of five years’ progressive experience in academic affairs leadership (community college experience preferred).
• Active RN license in Pennsylvania or eligibility for licensure.
