Associate Dean of Nursing

About the role

The Associate Dean of Nursing oversees the academic programs and administrative functions within the nursing department. They are responsible for ensuring that all educational standards are met and that the department operates efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee academic programs and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
• Manage departmental budget and resources.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to support nursing education.
• Collaborate with faculty to enhance teaching methods and student learning outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing faculty and staff.

Requirements

• MBA or Master’s degree in Nursing Administration or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in higher education administration.
• Proven track record in managing budgets and overseeing operations.
• Experience in developing and implementing educational policies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of nursing education and accreditation standards.
• Experience in strategic planning and program development.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
