About the role
The Associate Dean of Nursing oversees the academic and administrative functions of the nursing program at Keiser University. Reporting to the Provost, the Associate Dean of Nursing is responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of the nursing curriculum, managing faculty, and overseeing student affairs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of the nursing curriculum
- Manage faculty and staff within the nursing department
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for student affairs
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall educational experience
- Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing faculty and staff
- Represent the nursing program at various university and external events
Requirements
- MBA or Master’s degree in Nursing Education or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in higher education, preferably in nursing administration
- Proven track record of successful program development and management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong organizational and analytical skills

Pay
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
