Associate Dean of Nursing

About the role

The Associate Dean of Nursing oversees the academic programs and administrative functions within the nursing department. They are responsible for ensuring that all educational standards are met and that the department operates efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee academic programs and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
• Manage faculty and staff resources to support departmental operations.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance departmental effectiveness.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of nursing education and practice.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field.
• Doctorate preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in nursing administration.
• Experience with accreditation processes.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
