About the role

The Associate Dean of Library Services is a 12‑month, non‑tenure‑track, exempt position located on‑site in Cullowhee, NC. Reporting to the Dean of Library Services, the Associate Dean serves as deputy director for library administration, overseeing library‑wide programs and activities including strategic planning, goal setting, marketing and communications, internal communications, and library assessment. The role includes supervising the Access Services Manager, guiding policy development, human resources, interdepartmental communication, and decision‑making for the Circulation and ILL units, coordinating the library’s internship program, and representing the library in campus and community activities as delegated.
