Associate Dean for Academic Affairs

Description Description The Associate Dean for Academic Affairs (ADAA) serves as the chief academic officer of the School of Nursing and a strategic partner to the Dean. This senior executive leadership role provides comprehensive oversight of academic programs, including curriculum, assessment, accreditation, and academic operations across undergraduate and graduate education. The ADAA leads continuous quality improvement efforts, ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, and advances innovative academic and community partnerships aligned with the School’s mission and strategic priorities. The Associate Dean is a member of the School of Nursing Leadership Team and collaborates closely with the Dean, Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Student Services, Assistant Deans, Chairs, Program Directors, Coordinators, and university leadership. This is a 12-month fiscal appointment with optional teaching responsibilities, as determined by the Dean. Undergoes administrative review after the second year and every three years thereafter, incorporating faculty feedback.
