Associate Creative Director
Position Summary
WongDoody is looking for an Associate Creative Director (ACD), based out of our beautiful New York City Studio, to help drive growth and creative excellence for us and our clients. With a team of strategists, creatives, designers and production practitioners, you’ll be pitching and developing integrated campaigns, digital experiences and design driven projects across a broad spectrum of brands. You are a boots-on-the-ground contributor with your team and you have a strong portfolio across delivery channels and client verticals. You inspire and motivate your teams and colleagues to do their best work. You are an experienced presenter, comfortable in front of senior-level clients, leading client meetings through all stages of work from pitch to creative development through production with your exceptional conceptual skills. This position requires you to navigate being a creator, maker and a manager. You will actively contribute to the work while leading teams with love and compassion with a strong desire to elevate the work by elevating those around you.
About the role
This role reports directly to the ECD, North America.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated campaigns, digital experiences and design-driven projects across various brands.
- Collaborate with strategists, creatives, designers and production practitioners to pitch and bring ideas to life.
- Present concepts and strategies to senior-level clients, guiding them through all stages of project development from pitch to production.
- Inspire and motivate your teams and colleagues to produce their best work.
- Elevate the work by elevating those around you, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Lead teams with love and compassion, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a creative leadership role, preferably within a digital agency setting.
- Proven track record of delivering successful campaigns and projects.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of work across different delivery channels and client verticals.
- Exceptional conceptual skills and ability to present ideas effectively to senior-level clients.
- Experience managing teams and leading creative projects from concept to execution.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Passion for creating meaningful human experiences and a commitment to innovation and excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to lead and mentor creative teams.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including strategists, designers, and producers.
- Strong understanding of digital trends and technologies, and how they impact brand storytelling and audience engagement.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant software tools.
