Associate Controls Specialist or Controls Specialist

Job Summary

Oversee and safeguard cost controls for Electric Transmission projects. Monitor actual project cost and/or work status data to ensure project is proceeding on schedule and within budget. Prepare and analyze monthly cost reports for management. Evaluate and monitor internal controls processes. Conduct meetings with contractors and company personnel on cost control matters. Provide additional project support to Controls Specialists.

• The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:
• 0-2+ years of relevant experience in a directly related field
• 2-3+ years of relevant experience in a directly related field
• Knowledge of cost controls principles
• Good verbal/writing/presentation skills
• Effective work and project management skills
• Effective decision making and problem solving skills
• Effective math and computer skills
• Effective analytical skills
• Works effectively with employees at all levels and external personnel
• Consistently applies good business judgment

Education Requirements

Preferred Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor Preferred Disciplines: Construction Management, Engineering, Business Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above

Hiring Base Salary Range

Expected Hiring Base Salary Range: Associate Controls Specialist: $58700 - $76200 Controls Specialist: $73200 - $95000
