Associate Consultant - 2027 Start Date

About the role

As an Associate Consultant at Beghou, you will collaborate with senior managers and partners to deliver strategic insights and solutions for life sciences clients. The role offers exposure to commercialization strategy, advanced analytics, and technology deployment across multiple practice areas, supporting go-to-market initiatives, data infrastructure, AI-driven customer insights, forecasting, territory design, and medical/commercial data management. Beghou operates from 10 global offices with headquarters in Evanston, Illinois, and emphasizes analytical rigor, innovation, and leadership development.

Responsibilities

• Develop code to ingest, clean, and process life sciences client data
• Execute data processing tasks, troubleshoot errors, and ensure accuracy in code and deliverables while meeting client deadlines
• Identify key metrics and generate insights for advanced client reports, including data visualizations in dashboards and presentations
• Engage directly with clients to solve complex problems and deliver innovative solutions
• Collaborate with teams to provide strategic solutions for salesforce sizing, territory alignment, and incentive compensation
• Take initiative on ad-hoc projects to address unique client and internal team needs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (PhD candidates may apply to the Consultant role)
• 0 to 2 years of relevant professional experience
• Strong academic track record
• Ability to travel up to 10%
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate active listening skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively with others and adapt quickly
• Basic coding skills (SAS, SQL, Python, VBA, etc.) and/or knowledge of data visualization software such as Tableau or Power BI, preferred

Qualifications

• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative aptitude through coursework or experience
• Leadership potential, integrity, and solution-oriented mindset
• Technical proficiency in coding languages such as Python, R, SQL or similar, with ability to apply skills to data modeling, analysis, and problem solving

Pay

The estimated annual compensation range for this role is $70,000 to $85,000. Compensation decisions are based on individual qualifications, experience, and organizational needs, and are not typically made at or near the top of the range.
