About the role
We are currently searching for an Associate Commodity Buyer to join our Procurement Team.
Responsibilities
- Cookier purchasing activities for raw materials, packaging, and supplies
- Maintain accurate purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Aid in sourcing new vendors and evaluating supplier performance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, specifications, and food safety standards
- Prepare, analyze, and maintain purchasing reports and documentation
- Support Buyer and Senior Buyer with vendor communication, order tracking, and data analysis
Requirements
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- An analytical mindset for cost control and vendor evaluation
- Ability to work collaboratively with vendors and internal teams
- Experience in purchasing or procurement for 1–3 years
- Technology savvy – specifically within the Oracle Fusion ERP system
- Experience in the food industry and packaging materials is preferred
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a similar role
Skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of food industry and packaging materials

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Hours are primarily during 1st shift but may involve working with vendors outside of these hours.
