Associate College Director

About the role

The University of Arizona is a vibrant campus of 35,000+ students in the heart of Tucson, Arizona. Young Life College at the University of Arizona is a ministry with the hope of building relationships with every student we meet so that all students on campus have the opportunity to meet Jesus and participate in His Kingdom here on earth.

Responsibilities

• Train and work alongside a full-time College Director in order to reach more students
• Train leaders to participate in the mission of Young Life
• Recruit, train, and develop a team of college-aged leaders
• Lead an outreach club on campus
• Grow a small group discipleship program

Requirements

• Love being with and journeying alongside college students
• Have a passion for students during the years that greatly shape the trajectory of who they are in life
• Be passionate about what God is up to on university campuses
• Be called to pursue full-time ministry in Young Life

Qualifications

• Profess a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord
• Subscribe to the statements and policies required of all Young Life staff, including the Young Life Statement of Faith

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships
• Passion for college students and campus ministry

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
