Associate Clinical Therapist (AMFT, ASW, APCC, Associate Psychologist)
About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Associate Clinical Therapist (AMFT, ASW, APCC, or Associate Psychologist) to join our dynamic team. As a therapist at OpenMinds, you will specialize in providing individual, family, and group therapy for adolescents and young adults, employing a client-centered and outcomes-driven approach.
Responsibilities
- Conducting intake assessments
- Developing treatment plans
- Delivering evidence-based therapy
- Collaborating with a supportive team
- Receiving supervision from a licensed psychologist
Requirements
- Doctoral or Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field.
- Registration with the Board of Psychology (BOP) or Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS), depending on licensure/degree.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic skills, and knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Experience in individual therapy with adolescents and young adults (experience with group and family therapy is a plus).
- Bilingual and bicultural skills are required.
- Experience with LGBTQ+ populations is a plus.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Ability to see a minimum of 21 clients per week.
