Associate Clinical Research Coordinator - RESEARCH

About the role

The Clinical Research Coordinator 1 (CRC1) is responsible for coordinating and maintaining diverse activities related to clinical cancer research. This includes patient eligibility, registration/enrollment, data compilation, abstraction, and submission, study evaluation, quality control, and patient follow-up.

The CRC1 interacts closely with institutional investigators, industry sponsors, contract research organizations, NCTN research bases, clinic staff, laboratory staff, and pathology staff. The CRC1 collaborates with fellow clinical research staff throughout the duration of the study to ensure high quality and efficient study conduct.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient eligibility and registration/enrollment for clinical cancer research studies
• Compile, abstract, and submit study data
• Perform study evaluation and quality control
• Conduct patient follow-up activities
• Collaborate with institutional investigators, sponsors, research organizations, and clinical staff
• Ensure high quality and efficient study conduct throughout the study duration

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or equivalent education/experience
• 2 years of Microsoft Office Suite experience

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in healthcare or related field or equivalent education/experience
• Upon hire: Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) – Association of Clinical Research Professionals or similar professional research certification
• 2 years of human subject research or healthcare experience
• Experience working with electronic medical records (EPIC)
• Experience with Oncology and/or Radiation Oncology

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $24.97 - $38.21 per hour. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range will be determined based on relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
