Associate Clinical Research Coordinator

Responsibilities

As an Associate Clinical Research Coordinator, you will coordinate non-therapeutic clinical research protocols with direction from the principal investigator and/or supervisor in compliance with regulatory laws and institutional guidelines. You may assist in complex studies with direction but do not have overall responsibility for these studies.

You will screen, enroll, and recruit research participants. You will coordinate schedules and monitor research activities and subject participation. You will recognize adverse events, protocol deviations, and other unanticipated problems and report them appropriately. You will collect, abstract, and enter research data. You will perform administrative and regulatory duties related to the study as assigned. You will participate in other protocol development activities and execute other assignments as warranted and assigned.

This position will require candidates to work on campus and be within reasonable driving distance of the campus.

Qualifications

• Must meet one of the following:
  • HS Diploma with at least 3 years of experience
  • Associate's degree/college Diploma/Certificate Program with at least 1 year of experience
  • Associate’s in Clinical Research from an accredited academic institution without experience
  • Bachelor's degree
• Experience should be in the clinical setting or related experience.
• One year of clinical research experience is preferred.
• A graduate or diploma from a study coordinator training program is preferred.
• Medical terminology course is preferred.

Schedule

Mainly standard business hours, but could vary based on the position offered. Weekend Schedule typically Monday - Friday, with the possibility of weekends, depending on the study.
