About the role

As a Renewable Energy and Carbon Advisory Associate Client Development Manager, you'll support organizations in improving their energy efficiency and environmental performance while advancing your career in a rapidly growing field.

Responsibilities

  • Support Client Development Manager (CDM) business development activities to enhance and accelerate revenue generation
  • Nurture sales pipelines aligned with Schneider Electric’s Renewable Energy and Carbon Advisory solutions
  • Project manage account sales cycles to advance opportunities towards closure
  • Drive efficiency and impact throughout the sales cycle, including outbound communications, follow-ups, and proposal development
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to improve processes and reporting
  • Manage data input and unique administrative requests in Salesforce
  • Identify and communicate Renewable Energy & Carbon Advisory opportunities within the client base
  • Interact with business decision-makers at all levels to understand needs and market opportunities
  • Build relationships and processes with CDMs, adapting to evolving support needs
  • Support an annual revenue generation target through effective sales strategies and tactics
  • Develop business expertise and sales acumen through training and development activities

Requirements

  • College degree in Business, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field
  • Over 1 year of professional work experience in energy, sustainability, ESG strategy, reporting, and communication
  • Experience in client-facing roles such as sales, client management, customer service, or similar
  • Proven track record in account prioritization, value proposition development, and sales cycle management
  • Project management experience and strong attention to detail
  • A hardworking and adaptable attitude suitable for high-growth environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in English
  • Basic computer literacy in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (particularly Salesforce)

  • Strong communication and active listening skills to articulate sustainability value propositions
  • Product knowledge in sustainability offerings and their business impacts
  • Customer relationship management skills to maintain accurate records and nurture long-term partnerships
  • Consultative selling abilities to ask the right questions and position solutions effectively
  • Digital literacy to leverage sales tools and platforms efficiently
