About the role

Research business unit data problems and provide recommendations of solutions. Actively resolve day-to-day needs of the business unit with a focus on the systems, processes and quality. Research a range of process maps and written documents including user guides and manuals, and training materials, with support from team leads as needed. Ensure all assigned tasks are performed in a timely manner in order to meet processing schedules and service level agreements, while maintaining system integrity.

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Identifies and resolves data quality issues; actively participate in data governance processes to ensure the highest quality data is maintained and available.
  • Recommend to team lead and management changes to policies, procedures and processing flows, while maintaining a working knowledge to support the platforms and interfacing applications.
  • Stays up-to-date with corporate and platform operating policies and procedures in order to understand and assess the impact of recurring problems.
  • Assists with system implementation and training that becomes necessary as a result of system or policy changes.
  • Identifies internal efficiencies and system enhancements.
  • Analyzes basic information and makes decisions within guidelines or standard practices to solve problems.
  • Assists in research and problem resolution.

Required qualifications

  • High School diploma, or equivalent
  • Two years of experience in financial services industry

Preferred qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree
  • Experience and knowledge of Client Information Systems
