Client Data Operations Analyst
About the role
The Data Ops team at Carta is focused on delivering high-quality, auditable data to our customers. You will work within a team dedicated to reducing customer effort and empowering clients to take actionable insights from their private markets data.
Responsibilities
- Manage the extraction of private markets data from accounting documents and performance reports.
- Ensure all data is extracted in a timely manner and meets our high standards for data quality.
- Provide timely and accurate front-line support for all customers that your segment services.
- Proactively follow up with clients during each quarterly data campaign, providing clear tracking of what data is complete and ready for client review.
- Engage with clients in real-time via phone or Zoom to resolve issues and guide them through their data.
- Keep detailed documentation of client interactions to identify trends and drive operational and process improvements for the data ops team and the product teams.
- Treat every data campaign as a project, ensuring all stakeholders are updated on progress and milestones.
- Become an expert in private markets data, including financial metrics and KPIs.
Qualifications
- Fluent in English with the ability to articulate technical and complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Knowledge of financial statements and common financial concepts with a strong sense of curiosity to solve problems.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to balance multiple active projects with competing priorities.
- Care deeply and genuinely about client services; exhibit diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure.
- Comfortable learning new technologies and platforms quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Skills
- Strong analytical skills, knowledge of financial statements and common financial concepts.
- Excellent communication skills, able to articulate technical and complex concepts clearly.

Carta's compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our minimum cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is: $76,713.00 - $90,250.00 in Seattle,WA (hourly rate of $36.88 - $43.39). Annualized salary based on estimated 40 hours per week before overtime. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other factors.
