Responsibilities
- Being involved with the structuring of new credit transactions
- Preparation of credit applications
- Supporting client development
- Supporting transaction execution
- Preparing and recommending credit submissions including new business, annual and interim client reviews
- Conducting appropriate market, industry, and client research and risk analysis
- Working closely with Investment Banking, and other product groups, including Leveraged Finance, Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, Derivatives, Cash Management and Foreign Exchange to ensure cross-sell opportunities are developed and captured
- Assisting Loan Syndications in preparing materials and providing information to lenders in the syndicate
- Developing and maintaining solid and effective working relationships with clients, internal and external business partners, and credit adjudicators
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant credit and industry experience
- A combination of strong financial/analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- Strong financial/analytical skills, knowledge of MS Excel required
- Well-organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and establish priorities with minimal supervision
- Proactive and highly motivated
- The capacity to become adept at financial modeling
- The ability to work effectively in a team
- Enthusiasm for renewable energy and the clean energy transition
