About the role
Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Renewable Energy Tax Credit Associate with four to six years of experience. This position is available in any of our offices, including our virtual office, The Link. Key responsibilities include:
- Experience with renewable energy tax credits and real estate incentives
- Advising developers
- Drafting and negotiating tax credit transfer agreements
- Financings and M&A pertaining to the renewable energy sector
Responsibilities
The candidate will work primarily with attorneys in our Energy & Natural Resources business unit. Duties include:
- Advising developers on renewable energy tax credits and real estate incentives
- Drafting and negotiating tax credit transfer agreements
- Managing financings and mergers and acquisitions related to the renewable energy sector
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- Excellent academic credentials
- A commitment to the community
- Superior interpersonal skills
- A demonstrated record of working well under pressure
- Exceptional judgment
- The ability to effectively handle multiple projects
- The ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action
Qualifications
Candidates should have:
- An active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which they are applying
