Associate Buyer- Southern Fulfillment Center

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders
• Evaluate inventory and customer demand daily
• Ensure all purchased items are verified and received daily
• Communicate daily with vendors and freight carriers
• Work daily with Operations Management
• Provide support for all other month end closing and reporting requirements
• Perform vendor evaluations

Education And/or Experience

• BS is required
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel (Microsoft AX a plus)

Travel

• Travel as needed

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Computer Skills

Work Environment

• The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet, except in the manufacturing environment where PPE may be required
