About the Role
Coordinate assigned aspects of an Operations Brand or Program to align it with AbbVie’s business goals and strategic imperatives. Assist the Brand Director or Brand Manager with the Supply Chain interface and serve as the central point of contact for stakeholders from Commercial, R&D, S&T, Legal, Tax, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, Manufacturing, and TPMs. Provide global Brand/Product analysis, strategy, oversight, long-range planning (LRP), demand and inventory management, and ensure contract compliance with PRMs.
Responsibilities
- Drive assigned Operations Brand Program projects to ensure timely decisions impacting Brand sales, assurance of supply, and operational performance.
- Manage capital/project expenses and deliver multi-million dollar cost savings.
- Strategize and lead negotiations for new contracts or extensions with Third-Party Manufacturers (TPMs), including additional service costs and project proposals.
- Communicate and escalate issues threatening assurance of supply; develop mitigation plans with cross-functional teams and TPMs.
- Create and align Brand plans, financial plans, LRP, risk management, and lifecycle strategies with AbbVie’s business goals.
- Serve as the primary interface with Commercial to develop and agree on Brand/Product forecasts.
- Remain current on internal and external factors impacting the Brand/Product(s).
- Assist the Brand Director or Brand Leader with the supply chain interface, acting as the central point of contact for stakeholders.
- Communicate a common vision to cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring roles, responsibilities, and issues are clearly understood.
- Manage program activities to optimize operational performance and meet strategic business needs while ensuring assurance of supply.
- Oversee lifecycle transitions that impact Brand sales, managing capital/project expenses and delivering cost savings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Science; MBA or higher education desired but not required.
- 5 or more years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Management, Product Development, and/or Financial Management.
- Proven experience managing effective teams and fostering collaboration across organizational boundaries.
- Demonstrated success as a collaborative team player.
- Excellent presentation, oral, written, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle conflicting priorities and deliver results.
- Capability to manage, implement, and influence large change management programs.
- Knowledge of Commercial and Process understanding, with experience managing the Product/Brand being a benefit.
- Understanding of core business processes.
- Ability to interface effectively in worldwide cultural settings and with executive-level management.
