Associate Banker - Vice President

Citi is seeking an Associate Banker who stays abreast of developments within the field and contributes to directional strategy. This role requires basic commercial awareness and serves as a recognized technical authority. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are essential to guide, influence, and advise colleagues and external customers. The role has a significant impact on the area through complex deliverables and involves coaching and training new recruits.

Responsibilities

• Provide complete service support to clients, including solving complex inquiries.
• Offer day-to-day support to Bankers on documentation such as account opening/closing and loan disbursals.
• Organize pre-call planning, post-meeting notes, and maintain client call records, including call reports.
• Assist the Banker in profiling, qualifying, and converting prospects into Citi Private Bank clients.
• Support deepening existing client relationships through in-depth analysis.
• Assist in creating sales and marketing strategies focused on revenue growth and acquiring new clients, particularly in Investments.
• Conduct new client/prospect research, generate leads, network for referrals, and coordinate client events.
• Provide accurate and timely revenue tracking, deal pipeline reports, and other relevant information to the Banker.
• Ensure proper documentation related to KYC/AML and maintain updated client records.
• Assess risk in business decisions, prioritizing Citi’s reputation, compliance, and ethical standards.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience.
• Knowledge of investments is required; banking and credit products are desirable.
• Ability to manage internal and external relationships and prioritize tasks effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/University degree; Master’s degree preferred.

Pay

Full-time salary range: $142,320.00 - $213,480.00. In addition to salary, eligible employees may receive discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
