Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of Workers' Compensation defense matters from inception through resolution.
- Partner with senior attorneys to execute complex litigation strategies and client consultations.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of medical records to guide case development and liability assessments.
- Draft substantive legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients, carriers, and employers to ensure strategic alignment.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy within a collaborative remote environment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of practice experience specifically within Workers’ Compensation.
- Licensure: Juris Doctorate (JD) and an active member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
- Skills: Exceptional analytical, writing, and interpersonal communication skills. Technical proficiency: Proven ability to manage deadlines and utilize legal technology effectively in a virtual setting. Analysis: Demonstrated experience reviewing complex medical records and drafting concise legal arguments.
- Preferred Skills: Prior experience working in a fully remote or hybrid legal environment. Comfort with virtual court proceedings, depositions, and mediations.
